Architecture in the UK follows a structured path regulated by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). The qualification takes 7 years total: Part 1 (3-year degree), Part 2 (2-year postgraduate), and Part 3 (professional practice exam). A-Levels: AAA-ABB. Portfolio required. IELTS: 6.5. Art/Design A-Level helpful but not always required. Postgraduate: RIBA Part 1 qualification.
