Required Documents
- Visa Application Form: Fully completed and signed.
- Valid Passport: Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen area and have at least two blank pages.
- Two Passport Photos: Meeting strict Schengen photo guidelines.
- Travel Medical Insurance: Minimum coverage of €30,000 for medical emergencies and repatriation.
- Flight Itinerary: Round-trip reservation or itinerary.
- Proof of Accommodation: Hotel bookings or an invitation letter from a host.
- Proof of Financial Means: Recent bank statements showing sufficient funds for your stay.
When and Where to Apply
You should apply at the embassy or consulate of the country you intend to spend the most time in. If spending equal time in multiple countries, apply to the country of your first entry. Apply at least 15 days, but no more than 6 months, before your trip.
